We have made some Egyptian pyramids.
We had a great first day back making Egyptian triaramas and stenciling.
This week, we had a Den Morning to raise money for Save the Children. We had lots of fun using boxes, sheets, rope and pegs to build our dens.
Year 5 and 6 had a great time on residential at Seathwaite last week! We did ghyll scrambling, hiking, rock climbing, bouldering, fire building, conservation work and lots more!
On Wednesday, we took part in the CPPSSA Athletics. We did some fantastic throwing, jumping and running, and we all had lots of fun! And in the end, we came third!
We designed and made rockets with Mr Russell today and then we tested them to see whose went the highest!
Year 3 and 4 had a great time on their residential! We did so many fun and adventurous things: dry ghyll scrambling, fire making, marshmallow toasting, hiking, Cautley Spout, paddled, rag rugging and went to Fairfield Mill- just to name a few!
Year 3 and 4 began work on their wooden pencil holders this afternoon. They sanded down their wooden block, used maths skills to mark out and then centre pointed where they will drill next week. We can’t wait to see the finished products!
Today we creating the chocolate bars that we invented! They were yummy too!
The sun was shining today for our Royal Wedding Tea Party! We even had some surprise guests turn up! Thank you so much for your donations of cakes and sandwiches. There were some really creative royal cakes! All the children looked fantastic in red, white and blue.
